I sometimes copy the poems that I like, but I quickly ran out of storage space for them. The space above my bed was completely without decor, so I made a poem clothesline sort of thing. It is more filled now than it was when the above picture was taken.

Today, I ran into Dr. Kreitner. He told me he mailed my letter of recommendation and that he wrote some things in it that he should tell me in person. First, he said I have great potential as a teacher. When I was giving my lute presentation, he said that "either you take direction very well, you know what the class needed, or you're just brilliant." (It's worth noting that I felt completely unprepared for this presentation, as he told me about it 2 days in advance.) He also said that I remind him of himself. That was a huge compliment, as he is hands-down everyone's favorite and the most interesting teacher at the music school. We then proceeded to talk about the fact that I used the word snot in my paper.

I hope to one day figure out what it is about me that makes several very different people see themselves in me.
